Assam Police has announced a notification for the recruitment of a Grade IV vacancy (Barber, Waterboy, Electrician, Cook, and others). Those candidates interested in the vacancy details and have completed all the eligibility criteria can read the notification and apply online.
The Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has released the notification to recruit 928 grade IV staff positions in various departments. Maximum age for Assam Police, DGCD and CHGH, and F&ES positions: 40 years - The candidate must have been born on or before 07/01/2004 and be born on or after 07/01/1982
- Age relaxation is permissible under the rules.

Eligibility
Physical standards:
- Height (min.)
- General/OBC/MOBC/SC: Male -160 Cm, Female -150 Cm
- ST(H)/ST(P): Male -158cm, Female -147.5cm
Chest (for men only):
- For Gen/ OBC/ MOBC/ SC/ ST(P), etc.: Normal-80 cm, Extended-85 cm
- For ST (H): Normal -77 cms, Extended -82 cms
Medical standards:
- Far vision should be 6/6
- At least in one eye and not less than 6/9 in the other, without improvement
Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must have 8th class/HSSLC
